This is a far more efficient system to be used then that of the tanked system but there is the matter of cost to be considered.

A large hotel that offers a heated pool to guests would be best served with a tankless pool heater as it would save a lot of money and be easy to maintain. Of course there is nothing about a tankless pool heater that would be appealing to a person that is using the pool once a week at best. For this matter one would be best served by a standard pool heater.
