Then the water is pulled through a series of coils that are super heated with the burning of the gas. As the water flows the coils heat the water and then move it to the desired location for output.
This is a system that is extremely efficient. Rather then a constant state of heating the system is only burning, thus costing money, when the hot water is being used. So there is little that can be wrong with the on demand gas water heaters and their close cousins.
